EVE GALLERY THANKS YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Last Saturday EVE GALLERY had our final art show. We ended our two year run on a very good note with the surreal/figurative art of Navia Alejandro. We are very honored to have hosted Navia's first solo show and we are so grateful and thankful for the experience of hosting so many amazing and talented people at EVE Gallery. We thank everyone for the love and support we have received. It's been an awesome ride and we appreciate everyone who has come through our doors and helped to make it a fun experience. It could not have been possible without you.

THANK YOU!

CAMINANDO ARAIS The Art of Alejandro Navia

The Art of ALEJANDRO NAVIA
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2012
Artist Reception 5 - 10 PM

A xicano subliminal realism artist born in Boyle Heights and raised in South Central, Los Angeles, is where the muralists of one city and the life style of another, sculpted and influenced this artist as a young boy.

Navia, as he is known in some art communities, likes to paint what people either forgot or have taken for granted in life. From grandma's stories to whatever one kid said to him at the bus stop, is what you will interpret in Navia’s art pieces. You can find Navia’s trompe l'oeil paintings in Los Angeles, New York and Miami, but his dream is to show in his ancestor's land of Mexico.

“Caminando Arais” (Translation: Walking Barefoot) will be Navia's first solo show. Today you can find Navia painting in his Pomona studio while drinking a shot or two of Coralejo.
